herself drawn to adding decorative lettering to her painting. After five years in the corporate world she was anxious to return to her creative roots. In the fall of 2003, Jenny combined her love for lettering with her artistic abilities and launched her business "Just Write Calligraphy & Engraving Studios." Working from her studio she produces calligraphy for numerous clients including brides, event coordinators and corporations. Jenny is also a member or the Alliance of Certified Engravers. The ACE group is a professional association of free-hand engraving artists located in six major regions throughout the country who provide high quality engraving services to department stores, specialty gift stores, corporate and individual clients.
Our engraving clients include Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales. We also provide engraving services for Vera Wang, Donna Karan, Bulgari and many other fragrance lines. Our calligraphy clients include brides to be, event coordinators and stationers across the country. Check out our submission in this years Graceful Envelope Contest. Jenny's envelope received honorable mention and will be on display at the National Association of Letter Carriers headquarters building in Washington DC from September 2, 2008- August 1, 2009.
This year marked the 14th year of the contest, and the theme--C's the Day!--invited lettering artists to design an envelope around anything beginning with the letter C. The judges looked for skill in lettering, effective use of color and design, and creative interpretation of the theme.
